RamGas is the cooking gas arm of Ramdass Sales and Services Limited, the energy side of the Ramtrans family business. We have been supplying LPG in Trinidad since 1999, and the same family still runs it.

Keeping gas safe at home
LPG is safe when handled properly, and most incidents trace back to the same handful of avoidable things. A few habits worth keeping:
- Keep the cylinder upright and on a firm, level surface — never on its side while in use.
- Ventilate the space. LPG is heavier than air and will settle low if it leaks, so avoid basements and closed cupboards.
- Check the hose and regulator periodically. Perished, cracked or hardened hose is the single most common problem we see.
- Turn the cylinder valve off at the end of the day, not just the knob on the stove.
- If you smell gas, do not touch switches or light anything. Turn off the cylinder valve, open the doors and windows, and get advice before using it again.
If anything about your setup looks doubtful when we deliver, our drivers will say so.
